John C. Baldinger M.D.

 

Dr. Baldinger is a graduate of Emory University, B.A., 1976, and Vanderbilt University, M.D., 1980. He completed his internship at the University of Pittsburgh in 1981 and his residency in ophthalmology at The Eye and Ear Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1984. He also served as a vitreoretinal fellow at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, in 1985 and 1986. Dr. Baldinger possesses extensive surgical experience in both phacoemulsification cataract extraction and laser vision correction, including PRK and LASIK. His fellowship in vitreoretinal disease provides expertise in eye disease from the front to the back of the eye. He has been board certified in Ophthalmology  since 1986.  He is the Medical director and owner of Capital Eye in partnership with Dr. Powers.
